I prefer the look of these LED headlights to the ones on the M4.It makes sense to have the one corona ring LED go to the grille on the M4 because the headlights go right up to the grille. The M2 has traditional BMW headlights,so it looks much better to have the corona ring stop in a semi circle. They look great in the pic.I have never been a fan of these new BMW models, where the headlights go right up to the grille.

The render just changes the headlight corona rings shape, but the rest of the headlight is still bi-xenon - you can see the circular bulbs in there.
Actual LED headlights have an LED horizontal strip in the middle of the corona ring which is the LED main headlight, and also have built-in LED turn signals, which the render does not include. It looks like somebody at bmw.be was messing around with photoshop and somehow the photos made it to a production-facing version of their mobile site. Who knows if we will get LED headlights or not, but for sure, these look like updated bi-xenons and not full LEDs. |

After watching a Doug video on a lambo, I think BMW wanted to avoid the hexagon corona shape. Therefore, leave in partially open...and call it LCI! LOL

Is it just me or do the updated rear lights make the car look more feminine/ not as aggressive? Idk something about them look off to me. The headlights I'm not crazy about either I like the look of the pre-lci better...

reflector LED headlights. The new 5 series has projector LED headlights. From what I have read, projector LED headlights are better than reflector. The M2 LCI pic looks like BMW is using projector LED headlights. The projector LED headlights also look better IMO. |

I like the dedicated M side mirrors. At last.
...Oh wait, they're still the same.
