Yikes, sorry to see that. It happens to the best of us! At least the solid color should be a LOT easier to repair than the 437s.

Received my ECS Tuning BMW floor jack puck and Schwaben low profile floor jack.

Waiting for USPS to drop off steel wheel studs and spacers.

Ordered 12mm fronts and 12mm rears to test fitment for Volk TE37SL black edition III's in 19x9.5 23 // 19x10.5 34 prior to placing the order.

Bummer. It doesn't look bad though.

Do you notice a difference in steering feel/feedback vs the 788Ms? I was skeptical before putting them (w Cup2s) on my car, and was pleasantly surprised with the improvement.

I love those aluminum jacks. So much easier to maneuver around the garage.

Rear seat delete

I removed my rear seats last year to reduce weight and allow me to carry my track wheels and still see out the back window. The rear “seat” area looked unfinished and was a bit noisy so I had an auto upholstery shop cover the insulator piece in carpet...$75 later it looks pretty good for a track car.

Went on a track day yesterday and for the first time ever, I tried doing a brake pad swap myself as switched from my Pagid track pads back to stock pads.

Always went to a friend's shops to change pads because I'm not good with working on cars, but decided to take the plunge today and did it myself. Feels good to work on my car myself.

Went for a nice drive, after 7 weeks in storage, after I had Shoulder reconstruction surgery and not allowed to drive.

Drove to Mammoth (on PS4Ses) but was not expecting snow (forecast was calling for under an inch)...or much precipitation (first time my car has ever seen rain or snow if you can believe it)...

Woops

Luckily I was able to park it overnight on Saturday at a lower elevation:

Probably would have been stuck if I left it on the mountain Saturday night

I need a car was now

Just hit 400 miles on my car and experienced the rock stuck between rim and brake issue. Luckily I noticed the noise before I got on the freeway. Pulled into a parking lot and reversed until the rock dislodged itself. I've now got a nice groove on the inside of one of my rims. What an unfortunate design issue with our cars 🙂

Also noticed a screw in my tire. Luckily, it was a short screw and my tires are new enough so there is enough tread to prevent a full puncture. New car "luck".

Other than that, enjoyed a nice drive in the mountains.

Take care, all. Have a great Veterans Day.

Edit: posting this to the m2c thread 🙂
