Well this topic started with a typical BTG vs testlap BS statement
Apples vs Bananas. Both taste good by the way

However, if you invest this significant in upgrades, why are those heavy shitty brakes still up there ? They even look toast !

I think you could rebuild the 2NH calipers 1,000 times before equaling the cost of the AP brake kit.

I suspect I will fade faster anyways as we are at my home track I know well and my friend is tracking here for the 1st time

Yeah the APs will be sick!!!

Not so sure 2NH pads and disks are pricey. I burn through a set of stock seals in 3-4 trackdays... If I were to replace seals that often the APs get cheap fast.

+ your OEM brakes wont wear on the shelf and when you part out the APs you can still get decent cash for em.

Where do you believe you could place a car, within the above lap times, that is also comfortable to DD and take long trips? I know this a subjective question. I think the answer could be extremely useful when setting expectations and coming from a group this knowledgeable adds weight to the response. Thanks
NURBURGRING is made for daily cars bc of the variety of straights and corners. It's better to compare/configure a trans powerband than a motors power band. All are unique to each other hence indy, endurance races popularity. More delivery than power level.

Same motor but single or twin turbo or the size but reduced in power. But avg 400-550 is a daily hp than could do a decent time on the Nurburgring (bc of variety of straights and corners)

For example, KW V3 don't cost 10k. And an M4 GTS wing for more downforce is currently $700 from Suvneer, why would you pay 4k for it?
LOL, ok. So if you want a suspension set up that is worthy of this run its going to run you at least 10K Euro and that is w KW. (alignment, balancing, links etc). Charge cooler alone rad and tranny cooler is 2424£ plus 684£.

Here is a list of parts on that car. GTS-Heckflügel in Carbon 3-stufig verstellbar
Spoilerschwert von MTC
KW Clubsport 3-fach Gewindefahrwerk
HRE Performance Wheels R101 LW 19 Zoll in 9,5x19 ET25 und 10,5x19 ET35 Farbe: Brushed Dark Clear
Akrapovic Evolution Line aus 100% Titan
TurboPerformance Softwareoptimierung auf 430 PS und 620 NM
GTS-Schubabschaltung
GTS-Getriebesoftware
Carbondach im M4 Look
GTS Carbon Motorhaube
Wasser-Methanol Einspritzung
HJS Downpipe 300 Zellen
Endless Bremsbeläge VA/HA
Evolity Stahlflex-Leitungen
Recaro Pole Position im GTS-Style
Wiechers Clubsport-Bügel
Schroth 4-Punkt Gurte
Awron Datendisplay
Lenkrad in Alcantara und roter 12-Uhr-Markierung
EVENTURI Carbon Ansaugsystem
Türen-Innenverkleidung aus Carbon

Sure the wing you like is made of- Build material: fiber-reinforced polymer & glossy carbon fiber overlay for 699 usd.

Cheap stuff that is no TUV approved is unlikely to make it on that car. If you like going cheap quality its your choice (remember the guy who lost his legs in South Africa while racing his M3. )

Look wise I am sure you can get the car to the same level for significantly less. Ebay is a great source. LOL Anyhow mate, don't get offended. Look for genuine or race proven parts.

After all I am pretty sure you would not be tossing on eBay parts on a GT2 RS to call it MR simply for the look.
Bc racing on a 335 e92 for 1k has done sub 8

Man I hate it when a supposed heat management specialist uses incorrect terms.

To spell it out.....a car in motion can never suffer from heat soak. Let's just say that again for the slow ones in the back. A car in motion can never suffer from heat soak. Got it?

If you want to get into specifics, you're only 1/2 right - I have a masters in thermal engineering (owner of CSF)

Well sadly have very little to report. Constant red flags mean that we had to stop every 10-15min anyways. It got a bit ridiculous we would get ready to go back out on track (helmet on etc) and by the time we got to the pit lane it was closed again for another red flag!

I did start fading them after 4-5 hard laps (10-15min) but the RSLs were great and my favorite track pad so far.

My friend did not push his car as hard, he has less exp than me and it was hard to learn the brand new track with all sorts of GT Porsche cars and race cars flying around.

I replace the rubber seals every one or two years on my blue callipers.....

I just ordered an AP racing setup for the front similar to essexs but locally sourced as customs are killer
Would be interesting to know if there is a big difference between the 2NH brakes vs Blue brakes (on track with RSL29)?

Nürburgring is not that heavy for the brakes...

Nice driving in a very balanced car, regardless of times or self promotion.

When going for a new record, ideally, the car's setup, the conditions, and the driver's knowledge of the track are all in-line. Alex claimed the day of this run was the hottest he had ever experienced on the track, with an ambient temperature of 98°F/36°C. Fitted with CSF's 3-piece cooling package, the car's IATs were kept in check and heat soak wasn't an issue – allowing for consistent power delivery throughout the entire run, and helping the TPS Performance team to their new lap record of 7:12.
