Exhaust Sound Clip Request

Hi, big ask, but would any of the owners who've taken delivery be able to take a quick clip of what the stock CS exhaust sounds like, inside the car/outside?
I understand some countries have the OPF but not sure of other countries where it's been delivered and would be great to get an idea.

Trying to decide between leaving the stock exhaust on for a while or the MPE and cannot find any good video/audio data on the internet.

Thank you.

Hi!
Here is a cold start of mine. It becomes very quiet after cold start... (the car has OPF).

Thank you

Hedoniste Thank you, you're the man! I'm sure there are other factors at play including proximity to the wall behind, but that sounds appreciably louder than a comp M3 or M2C.

Not louder than my previous M3 Comp during cold start. I have to break in the car but I don't think the noise will be much louder than now.

Oh, perfect. Even better to hear that. Looks like I am leaning towards adding an MPE.

Can you add MPE on the CS?

Yes, as of 2 days ago, the option is available. I'm waiting to get the exact part number to compare with the one that is available on the M2C.

That's awesome, can you show me where you saw or heard this?

It's available in dealer speed under the VIA (port install) options. BMW Hotline confirmed it and so did the dealer.
That is of course is a little bit more expensive than buying the MPE after the car is delivered but the added warranty, not having to worry about finding a compatible part, and not having a competent local shop to install, it's an appealing option for me.

I think posting screenshots has been frowned upon recently, so I hesitate in doing that.

Ah, that answer is good enough. Thanks for the insight.

1450 for CF tips, 4750 for MPE.
Still trying to negotiate buying without tips but doubt that will work.
All options are about 2% higher than prices posted for M2C VIA options here on the forums.

Is the stock exhaust valve less?

What i did in my m5 competition is to keep the valve open all the time and its perfect.

I was going to buy the m performance but not sure its what i was looking. So i opened it and never closed it since then.

I'm not familiar with the M5s exhaust. I'm sure someone here can answer that.
The one (non Comp/Comp/CS/MPE) in the F8x M cars have valves that are controlled in conjunction with the throttle response modes.
The MPE in the M2C is controlled with the throttle response buttons and has valves that can be controlled with a bluetooth linked button. Still don't have confirmation on part number for the M2CS, so it may or may not come with that bluetooth controller.

If the cold start is different after a few minutes of starting, then the m2cs has a exhaust valve.
I would try to open it all the time and see. I like the stock tips.

Yeah,I'm hoping some owners who've already taken delivery can answer that.
The stock CS exhaust does look nice, I think those tips are one piece with the exhaust (different from the OG or M2C where the tips sit on the exhaust.

Does the M2CS come equipped with OPF for the USA? I feel like I read the M2 Comps had it so I figured the M2CS would too but can anyone confirm?

I like the stock tips of cs. Its similar to my e39 m5.
Ill probably do a delete on the CS to remove that rear belly. That exhaust hump reminds me of the milk breast of cows.
