How to Determine how much air to put in aftermarket wheel/tire setup?
Hi All. A couple of months ago I put an aftermarket wheel/tire setup on my car and noticed yesterday it had not been filled to the OEM spec (as per the door jam, 32 PSI instead of 35 PSI). After filling the tires to the OEM spec pressure I feel the car to be less stable and it got me thinking, are these pressures really ideal for aftermarket setups.
Anyone have input on this? Most people I have asked just use whatever is posted on the door jam but thought I'd reach out and see what the community has to say about this. About the new setup: HRE 300 Front: 20 x 9.5 et 31 Medium offset - 255 30 20 Michelin PS4S Rear: 20 x 10.5 et 41 Medium offset - 295 30 20 Michelin PS4S
