Cheers. Definitely go with aluminium rather than carbon, some of the carbon hoods dont have all the fitting pre-driiled etc & the qualities vary.
Mine was from Aliexpress & was a simple bolt on, didnt have to adjust anything, fit is as good as oem. Only work done was to remove some excess sealant underneath. The other trick is not to clear coat the underside of the hood so it matches the oem finish.

Sorry typo should read 'some' sealer. It came with the oem vent included which just needed painting gloss black. It is the oem plastic vent also not a cheap fibreglass copy.

Will leave it open & see how it goes. Its raining here today & no ingress so far. The vent is quite vertical so i dont see it being an issue.
I noticed there is a seller on here in the US selling the exact same hood for a good price. He had about 6 left i believe. Do a search & you should find them.

Today I received my VRSF catless downpipe and charge pipes.

I'm pretty pissed because (i) I paid $70 extra for cerakoting and it showed up with no cerakoting, (ii) the sponsor post on this forum says that cerakoting is free of charge, and (iii) when trying to contact VRSF, I saw that the intercooler that I just bought 2 weeks ago (and couldn't install without today's delivery of charge pipes) is now on sale for $70 cheaper.

Question: the inside diameter of the downpipe is 3.5"....is that correct for our application or did I also receive the wrong size? Its called a 4" downpipe on the site.

I was excited to do my FBO install over this long weekend but its looking like it wont happen
