Make it look like this, and we have a winner. Will the M2 offer the Carbon roof?

I dont see any indication of new rear wheel arches? We don't even have a clear shot of it molded onto the door as such?

Granted it looks great but that front ground clearance is hilarious, you could only drive the thing on NASCAR ovals.

Yea but the same fenders we've already seen. Never said it wasn't a new car. Just letting it be known that it isn't any further fender development done.

My mistake, I thought you were comparing the fenders to the M235i. It looks like to me that the rears are finalized and the fronts still need to be developed.

Some equipment and features are not deemed necessary at this point as the chassis and engine will be the current priority for the engineers.

It's interesting to look at these old threads of what "we thought" the M2 would look like... and compare it to what BMW decided to actually produce.

It's actually pretty close to the vision GT concept car in the front.

That render is the GT6 Vision Concept created by BMW. Not by any of us. It serves as inspiration for future M2 models.

The base M2 got some styling cues of the GT6 Vision Concept (cannot even call it a 'watered down' version).

The future M2 variant may get more styling cues of the GT6 Vision Concept.

GT6 Vision Concept:

Base M2 - front end partially inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept:

Render - front end more inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept (integrated splitter) - eventually considered for a future M2 variant:
