Tramlining. It all comes down to what type of driving you primarily do. If you just drive the car on weekends and also at the track, then it’s an ok compromise. If it’s your daily driver it will be annoying and cost more in tyres.

So many more option choices for a UK car than we get in the US...I would have dumped the wireless charging and kept most of the rest of the Exec Pack.

I dropped my SO at the airport last Thursday and then got stuck in traffic for over two hours getting back home. I had zero seat fatigue when I got home. That's totally worth 1.3 kilos per seat vs. the sport seats I had in my 340 (which I think are the same seats as the OG M2).

That is too funny. Actually, now that I look at that again, I suspect Joe actually did that as a funny bit. #1 says "find an M140 customer" and he's trading in his M140, right? I seriously really like this guy, Joe Achilles. I mean, he's self-deprecating enough to kind of make fun of himself with that white board sitting right behind his own head during the whole video. AND he even brought Snickers bars to the dealership as a way to get a better deal. Hilarious. |

Ah. Just posted that in reviews thread. Quite good. I agree that no-one should get HS. It is a terrible colour. So boring.
Also, by co-incidence I finally got to blast through a tunnel today. Joyous. Tuneful. Melodic. I love it. Wish I could disable the burbles with an option though. I'm too old and too stylish for that. |

Also... note to manual drivers [edit I mean manual drivers driving DCT]. You don't need to lift your foot off the throttle when changing gears like Kiwi mate. Granted, I have no problems doing this with the paddles but it's sometimes hard to stop if you use the shifter.

EH?? Can you explain this? I have been driving boring automatic cars for the last 3 years and have just ordered a manual M2C, so maybe I am a bit out of touch. You're saying you can keep your foot on the throttle whilst changing gears in a manual?? Can you explain a bit more about this as I always thought you had to take your foot off the accelerator when changing gears in a manual. Also, doesn't the M2C auto-blip the throttle when changing gears anyway for this purpose?

What's funny is that the same racer crowd who like the computerised pops and bangs - fake versions of what you used to get authentically, don't like computer-enhanced interior engine sound because it's, well, fake. That's so funny. YHMV. |
