Got mine in and it’s on
- fit is nice ( just need to take your time installing it) - looks damn good mounted - prepreg CF caps are nice made - epoxied on plastic tab are kind of brittle, so be careful with those. I broke one of the clips on mine despite being extremely careful - Other two plastic pieces are nicely made even though the quality of the plastic doesn’t seem to be on par with OEM - no wind noise on either side |

I started installing my mirrors yesterday and was curious if those who have installed theirs have a similar gap or if I need to go back and readjust everything?
The area where I think I have an issue is at the base of the mirror and I circled it...not sure if that area is supposed to be flush with the base or as it is. Mike |

Just got my CF set in a few days ago and installed. Install is fairly easy and straight forward. Hardest part is aligning all sides when installing the cap to the rest of the assembly.
Also thanks whoever mentioned installing the mirror last to allow better visibility when installing the cap. Overall I'd give them a 9.5/10 - Have a few little areas that aren't precise on the fitment but you can hardly tell. On the drivers side, the wing tip on the CF side of the cap is ever so slightly longer than the mirror side base. Around the lower area of where the CF cap rounds off and meets the gloss black lower has a very tiny gap if I'm nitpicking. - Quality seems pretty good overall. Everything is nicely finished and I had no issues with that. - As someone else mentioned, autoid pieces seem slightly less dense than the oem pieces but they are still well made. - Lastly when installing, the key thing to point out is make sure that when installing the cap, the bottom tab slides in first and foremost before pushing everything together. I got the driver side on pretty easily. On the passenger side I bent the tab because I didn't slide that tab in correctly.

I completely forgot to order them when I ordered the set. I may add them down the line.
