So I've had the car tuned to BM3 Stage 1 for 20k mi and a Vargas CBC. Just went to Paul Johnson for Flex Fuel tune and only lasted 5k mi and a 2-3 pull before it let go and showed an "exhaust cam out of spec" code.

Got it fixed and runs better than ever!

Moral of the story: you might be OK on stage 1 with a CBC on E20 but likely not with a flex fuel tune.

It isn’t, they’ve been slowly popping up, there’s a thread I had linked in the F80/82 forums that there were a few others that noticed some failures there as well.
