Where do I get started on this? How does one acquire a dme built before 5/20? Call me childish lol but I don't necessarily need more power but do want to put burbles back on my m2cs. Coming from a f82 with mpe and miss the gunshots...sometimes. wouldn't decline a nice little power bump either. Ran an Alex Alpine stage 1 on the f82.

Does anyone have experience purchasing a used OEM DME? I want to have it bench unlocked and install a tune. Not familiar with aftermarket DME’s so i figured I stick with a OEM one.

My 2021 is now "Enabled" and I'm absolutely thrilled with the difference. Coming from a big power car, I found the stock M2C acceleration to be slightly "Meh", especially with how flat the power delivery was from 5500 to redline. That's definitely cured, and the power level much better matches the capabilities of the chassis. My heart was racing during a few fun jaunts yesterday, and at a couple of points, I had to remind myself to relax my grip on the steering wheel a bit. The third into fourth gear pull from this thing is definitely breathtaking now. Good stuff!!

Funny, for me, it was just the opposite. I wanted less burbles, less startup noise, etc.
The car had the unresonated AA EL mid and axle back on it when I bought it. I've been toning it down since (added resonators, turned off ASD, had Enabled deal with the startup racket, used Bimmerlink to turn off burbles). Now resonated, flaps always open in Sport, no burbles, and extremely happy with the sound.

I’ve talked to Enabled a few times and as soon as my warranty expires this year, I’m very tempted to plan on doing the crank hub and (while doing all that) removing the DME and getting it setup for flash tuning. The car is such a riot to drive and I’m blessed that the CS already had all the burbles and stuff removed. The nice burble on lower RPM decal (short duration) that naturally happens on my Remus Sport is JUST enough.
