Nankang Sportnex CR-S

New/refreshed Nankang track tire on its way to the states. Looks as quick as the 71RS with Falken-like longevity. No idea about wet performance, yet.

The author of that article recommended the new CR-S, then RE71RS, then A052 to me for my M4 in a time trial comp. Said these should work very well on a heavy, power car too. From what it sounds like Nankang has a heck of a tire here.

one day maybe I will get the AP up front but so many other things are ahead of it.

I do need some tires soon but might go with 265 front and 295 front. its what I have now anyways but was going to go down to 20 offeset next but might just keep it at 30 and try these.

I know a guy that has set some blistering lap times on a 275 square CR-S setup on F80

The current version is not bad, but overheats very quickly: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/ar...-buyers-guide/

The new version sounds promising, but I’m waiting to hear about wet performance as an arrive & drive tire since the 71RS is pretty good in the wet.
