Going for a little different look - 5 spoke wheels with a lip

I’m old lol. I came up with the late 80s and early 90s imports where the fat five spoke wheel with a deep lip was a popular look. One of the things I’ve always appreciated about the M2C was the little boxier look especially with the flared rear hips. I decided to take a bit of a chance and see how I liked the closest I could get with my M2.

This is my second set of Signature forged wheels, with the first set having been on my Tesla Model 3P.

I just got the car back from having these installed along with suspension and some other goodies and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I know it’s not for everyone but that’s the point of mods, right?

Anyway, very happy!

Call me old as well cause that deep dish look ain't bad at all.

Makes the car look more muscular in it's stance...

Thanks! That was the goal but I couldn’t find a lot of similar looks so I wasn’t fully sure how it would turn out until it was finished. I’m happy

Definitely an improvement over the stock wheels.

I like it. Got that old school 90s flavor. Looks good though. I can picture these on an Iroc.

Thanks and I like your style!

Funny you mentioned that timeline when thinking about trying these out. For me it was the same during that time period but with the fox body mustangs and their five star ponies. Signature Wheels are my go to - street, track, even on my race cars. Excellent wheels - very underrated in the BMW community. Usually stick with one style and color to make it easier to manage tires, etc with multiple sets but this car being dual duty went with multiple styles this time. Have the 601 in matte black and 504 in Sahara brushed gold.

What sizes did you go with? I'm running 18s with 10.5 front & 11 rear. Awesome fitment.

Your car looks awesome - enjoy!

Thanks! Jamie at Signature has been great. I did 19 x 9.5/10.5 as it’s a pure street setup for the foreseeable future.

Signature does great work when I read up on a lot of the guys who track the hell out of their cars and no reported failures.
