Used ‘17 M2 with exterior door moldings??
My brother is looking at a 2017 M2 and we just noticed that it has molding strips on the doors and front part of the rear quarter panels. On top of not being a fan, were these even an option (factory or dealer-installed)??

Have the dealer remove them. Ugly.

yeah someone really didn't want door dings and went to a lot of trouble to have them color matched. should be able to come off with a little heat. prob have to buff the doors.

Dealer likely wont want to risk paint damage removing. Use it as a negotiation point and remove then buff yourself.
Make it a plus for you, get it cheaper and also know this car likely had an older/elderly owner. |
