can you tell me where you found "easy seat entry" in bimmercode? i'm not seeing it at all. thanks

You have to code it via expert mode, there's a document in this thread that tells you what values to change.

Ran into a similar issue myself. Demo mode displays all options (for demo purposes) but connecting some features are missing depending on the car model.

Just ordered a Vgate OBD 2 to hopefully code out ASD from my M2. I got the MPE last week and had to do a longer trip on the highway. It's definitely too much in long trips where I just wanna relax and listen to music once in a while, so hoping to experiment.
Is coding out the ASD permanent with bimmercode? Are there any downsides to having it off?

I have the MPE as well. Initially I left the ASD on and it gets annoying when you have long trip, especially when you drive in Sport mode. I coded it off with Bimmercode. You can turn it back on by restoring the backup that is automatically generated.

so my iCar adaptor arrived yesterday and the car was delivered today! There already a few things I am keen to change that are a little frustrating so looking forward to some coding tomorrow.

I know there are alot of things people have coded in this thread but was wondering what people have found the most useful or what are the favourite things they have altered.

Something I don't think I have seen is coding it so that that it stays in automatic high beam assist rather than having to set it on each time you turn the engine on. Maybe this is in expert mode but not sure I am ready for that yet.

Is there any way to code the mirrors to fold via the keyfob on a car that doesn't have comfort access?

The only change I notice is orange in classic mode and white in sport mode.
The ambient lighting under the dash/armrests change depending on the setting. You can change it in the options within iDrive.

The problem is that you've incorrectly assumed that the climate/navi lighting during the day is white... it's not, it's not lit at all, and the buttons themselves are white, and the only illumination that they have is amber.

The LCD with the temperatures etc. is backlit in two colours, but that's the only thing that is. During the day it's white to match this un-lit buttons, and at night it's amber to match the illuminated buttons. I've not seen any coding to keep it white, but it would look a little odd with all the buttons being amber.

There are very very few differences between the LCI and pre-LCI F87. Is there something specific you're looking for?

That's Vehicle In Motion, or VIM. I've not tried this myself, and am not that interested in the feature, but I imagine if it worked for pre-LCI, it would for LCI as well.

I think I read somewhere that there is a limitation that you can only code VIM to work up to 40 mph?

Yes it works. But when i try to code the brightness of angel eyes in daytime driving lights or position, i don't appreciate any changes.....
I have code the folding mirrors, the rolls royce sounds, the stop engine function and i don`t know what else basic mods...
