Does that get you to a 305 square setup

Yes, but for now I am happy with 285square, I do not plan to change, today I received neova ad09 tires in 285/30, they are too wide, 295/30 I think it would not work for a 10.5 rim

Ad09 285/30 vs hankook 305/30

We have very little variety of tires in 295 that work in 10.5

Hi,

First of all, sick build! Really like how you make everything work.

I’m about to order the m2 csr wheels (same as you) and was curious about the fitment.
On the m2 cs racing they use a 40+mm spacer and you only need half the spacer.
Is it because you have the gts knuckle?

I don’t mind running spacers but 40+mm seems alot.

Depending on what suspension you have you can go with 25mm spacer, with gts knuckles I can run without spacers.

A few days ago this happened, the stabilizer link support broke, the link was also bent... I wrote an email to KW and I have no response, they are not serious... I decided to make the supports in 7075 aluminum, along with hexagonal endlinks, and I also made the parts where the uniball heads are attached in stainless steel to prevent rust.

New parts

Anodized

Mounted

The cooling ducts also broke...

New ones mounted

After a wash with reload application

Shameful to see the KW suspension break like that! How surprising to see that failure

Looks like your end link was in bind - I had this issue all 2023. Snapped some rod ends and even sheared off the sway bar tab on my strut. More to do with where the sway bar tab on the strut sits relative to the connection to the sway bar itself. I had to use spacers and a softer position on my bar to correct the geometry.

I'm even embarrassed to post pics with that suspension.... they have been on the market for so many years and not capable of manufacturing their suspensions with higher quality... I have seen the MCS and they look 10 times better.

You will have to bring me a 3-way set in summer

It has worked like this for more than a year, and it broke during aggressive driving.
I also have it in soft position, I hope it doesn't happen again...

Yeah same for me - it was only on track where the forces were so extreme that the endlink bound up and snapped. Do you have higher misalignment rod ends available to you? That's another potential solution. Something like this to give you some extra articulation:

Link for these rod ends?

I have steering stoppers, don't have much turn, with full wheel turned I can move the tie rod a little by the hand.

I use gt4 rod ends.

I hate that this happened to you. I have no doubt that others will benefit from your final solution.

Complete speculation here: seems like it would have been when making a hard left, the rod end would have run out of articulation for some reason, got bound and the stress was transferred directly to the mounting point. Basically what happened to me and over half a year the endlink snapped, then a few months later the mounting tab snapped. Just the collective effect of that much stress overtime on the endlink chain.

These links are just examples, *if* you do go this route, you will want to source some from a manufacturer/supplier you trust (possibly the manufacturer of the GT4 ends?):

I think that when the rod was bent it put a lot of force on the support, if I applied force when turning it would come off just like here, it is another car with my links and without steering stoppers.

First mountain trip of 2024

And finally we ended up in a nice rural restaurant where we stopped for breakfast.

Today I received the arch trim set, the installation is simple and it looks nice.

Now it seems that the rear needs 10mm spacers.

New simpler and lighter arms, natural gray anodized.
Also inox 304 nuts, the current ones are rusty and since I hate rust I will change all of them.
