Auto lock?
I did a search and cant seem to find any information... so here goes.
I have auto lock enabled on exit in IDrive but it never locks the car. in the morning the car is still unlocked, what gives? thoughts? |

I guess. I forgot how it works exactly, which is why I linked instead of explained myself. I remember having the same question you did when I first got my M2. The description in iDrive is a bit ambiguous.

Auto lock is a very easy to explain feature.
You leave your car in the parking lot, you sit down at a restaurant. and as you sit down you accidently hit the unlock button on your key and you don't notice. Well in a different car, your vehicle would be unlocked until you came out and noticed it. Well if you did this on your car after about 2 minutes it re locks itself if nobody opens the door in that period. |
