The GTS was nothing special to Most of us, there are so many out there that are almost like brand new and nobody wants them. Lol

M2c is plenty for me, my first and last true sports car (6th bmw)
Just 80% throttle puts a grin on my face, I could see how some others want more power more speed but around here on northeast roads it'll be such a waste |

Sticking a 'M' badge on the side of every BMW - I would agree that is diluting the brand. I don't believe I ever read a comment from a Porsche enthusiast stating that there are too many flavors of 911. |

The PTG E36 prebuilt bodies that I saw in the shop from BMW had solid piping reinforcements welded to the shell before paint. They were more than production bodies w/CF slapped on.

BMW just makes too many models focused on the enthusiast. Perhaps the new CEO will put an end to all this nonsense and just make garden-variety sedans and coupes. Let Audi and M-B and Jaguar go after all those who want a more hardcore vehicle. |

it's raining hi-po m2s and you're upset? IMO, they can do whatever they want with the ///M badges on series cars if it means more of this.

Everyone can quit whining about too many variants. This is not a M2 GTS testing.

My theory is the people crying about higher-end M cars are upset because they can't (or don't want to) afford them. Their fragile egos seem to take a hit when they realize they don't have the "ultimate" M model of their car. Thus they craft weak explanations of M dilution.

M2 is a successful M model. Affordable for many enthusiasts. If there is demand for more powerful/ special variants, why not offer them?
Same receipt applied by Porsche.. And a total track dedicated car shows the potential of this platform 👍 |
