M2C vs M850i

for those that might comment on OG M2 0-60 time tested, it was a manual, this m2c is a DCT

Lap time:
2019 M850i 1:04.20
2019 M2C 1:04.83
2016 M2 1:03.69

That M2 vs M2C times seem so counter to all the other tests. Wonder if the mile high track has anything to do with it?

Edit: Watched it again, missed the part where he said the oversteer was killing his lap time.

Man BMW has to be the strangest manufacturer when it comes to colors. For whatever reason they hate red which happens to be one of the best automotive colors and really love orange which is one of the least popular. There are brief moments when I think SO is a good looking color but at the end of the day it's still a metallic bronze which isn't ideal for a sporty car.

These days orange is very trendy, they pick colors that sell or are eye catching. A lot of car companies don't offer red.

Is it? I don't see Audi and MB showcasing all their new cars in orange. I see the odd bronze RAV4 but that's not exactly the benchmark BMW should be chasing.

@ 11:17 that's not a fluent start is it?

That did cost at least half a second....

Cheers

The M2c front end extra weight contributes to the rear end slippery and sliding affect, it also makes the steering feel a bit more direct.

What is the weight breakdown of front to rear in m2c? Is it still 48/52?

Yes. Also, why don’t these people do flying lap times like everyone else on the planet. Very weird. The tester overdrives it too. Messy.

They drive all the cars in the same manner and same format , so its all apple to apples

Plus i don't see why for comparison purposes a standing start is a bad thing as it takes acceleration into consideration, this is more useful for regular buyers
