m2c stainless steel hose
Hi. so finally i got my long beach blue m2 competition. I have the big brake kit and it looks massive.i'm looking for the stainless steel hoses kit and i can't get my head aournd it. i checked the goodridge website and saw one kit which is both good for m2 and m2 competition. I know the big brake kit wasn't available for the regular m2 and so i was wondering if the kit will work with my brake kit. Does anyone have the big brake kit and the stainless steel hose upgrade?

I wrote a mail to them and so i'm waiting for an answer. i believe the connection on the caliper is kind of stanrdard so it shoul be the same. if i could check for standard hose in the bmw official parts program we could be sure that the hose are the same.

My concerns were about the big brake kit offered as optional parts with the m2c

Are you saying the 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes are offered as an option where you are? And if they will take the same SS lines as the M2C that came with those brakes already?

Did you order direct or from your local distributor? We have been shipping these on a weekly basis without them ever going on backorder.

Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines are available for the M2C...you can see them here (scroll to the bottom):
https://www.essexparts.com/my-vehicl...ompetition/All These are the highest quality lines on the market, and have some very cool features like a swivel fitting so they are easier to install/route, and they won't bind. You can read more about them in the link below. These are the same as the brake lines we offer in our AP Racing brake kits. They are manufactured and tested in Ohio, and use stainless fittings from Switzerland. https://www.essexparts.com/brake-lines They're also pretty darn strong at the attachment points! |

Do stainless steel lines really make that much of a difference? One that can be felt due to the hose built and materials ....and not because it's newly bled.

if I'm reading this correctly it'll work for stock 6 piston front and 4 piston rear correct?
How tedious is the install if I do it myself and if not what's labor cost. Thanks! Update: I just purchased the front and rear spiegler stainless steel brake lines will they fit my stock 6 pistons and 4 piston rear for m2c? What will I noticed after installing them and should I go with RBF600 fluid ?
