Installed a no drill mount and finally got around getting a install video out together.

Now just waiting for IND reflector deletes and TLG Mud flaps to come in

I live in the UK so bought the mesh from...

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...5m-190698.html

Once you remove the bumper, roughly snip the mesh to size, attach using 4mm black cable ties then do a final trim. It is very easy to cut. I used two of the meshes for all the air inlets.

Hope that helps.

Daytona

Just landed in Daytona Beach. . . did not realize the raceway was next to airport.

As someone who never saw it before, the raceway itself is an amazing spectacle.

A nail?

A freelling NAIL?

At least it's right in the middle of the tire.

I guess I'm pulling off the tire tomorrow and going to get it patched.

Sigh.

Looks pretty great from the air when it's all lit up at night. Even better when the Rolex 24 is running!

I just got my bimmercode adapter and changed the Amplifier to F45. Wow, that IS a big difference.

Thanks Poochie!!

Today I discovered that my M2C has a hill hold feature so the car doesn't roll backwards when starting to drive. I don't think I saw that feature listed anywhere in the manual, but maybe I missed it.

Always active, as far as I know. My car has the manual transmission. Not sure if autos have the same feature, or if they even need it.

The hill hold is only active for about 3 seconds after releasing the brakes.

Yep always active. In fact, most modern manual transmissions have this safety feature. As much as I like being old school sometimes, this is simply awesome.

Also the anti-stall feature is pretty neat as well, along with re-ignition of the enjoy after stalling with simply pushing down the clutch again.

All BMW's have this feature regardless of Transmission type. It was implemented years ago.

JC

If it has anti-stall, why would it need an auto-restart with clutch depression after stall?

😂 smartass...

Anti-stall in the sense that it gives some gas when you let go of the clutch, unlike traditional clutch operations.

This does not mean anti-stall proof!

Installed Mishimoto chargepipes, they fit perfect with the stock air boxes. No rubbing on the air boxes or engine cover.

Autos don't need it.

But the DCT has the same 3 second feature. After that you go rolling backwards.
