I had never ridden in a car with 20s until I test drove my 981 - I honestly couldn't tell any sort of major difference between them and the 18s on my 235.

And they look da business...but the M2 should look perfect with some nice 19s and a slight drop.

I think that might be the overall "camo" effect - we are trying to imagine how the thing is going to look with a nice, clean paint job and whatnot - I think it will look really good when they finally show us the polished car.

Forgot a picture. I'm sooooo sorry.

LBB is really a crazy colour. Everytime you look at it, it looks different. As someone said: Very similar to Atlantisblue.

I hope they put a nice Alcantara interior like the 1M. With blue contrast stitching it would look dope as hell.

Did the guy who took these shots have anything to say about how it looked in person?

Not much.

He is driving a E93 M3 Cabrio so the M2 is not the type of car he is searching for. But he said that the car looked very compact and that is the best thing I could hear.

I didn't like the E9x M3 because of the size, I didn't like the F8x because of the size. But I love the E46 M3 because of its size and the M2 will fit in there.

For me, the M2 is the real modern M3, when you look at the past.

Two years ago I thought about buying a M235i because I couldn't imagine that BMW will build a new mordern car that fits more for me. But I had the hope and saved my money. Now I can say it was the best decision I made and I will have tons of joy with the M2 in 2016 ... and there is no alternative on the market in europe (and I think also in the US), when you want a new, stock agressive compact sportcoupe with rwd, a manual gearbox, 6 cyl. and +300hp. Thats what I wanted and BMW delivers.

It keeps the cost of production and development down. I'm all for it.

I love the look of the rear, the front to me looks like its off an X1.

Can't wait to see it in Ze Nude and in some different colors, more so some individual colors. Perhaps a techno violet.

There was no private reveal at Frankfurt. That's just Scott's fantasy.

No individual for this car. It will come in 4 flavors. Take it or leave it.
