First post

Hey all, new user here to Bimmerpost and will be taking delivery of my M2 CS in about a month to accompany my M5 and various other cars in the collection (including the runner up in Evo’s 2020 COTY).

I’ve enjoyed reading the various threads and seeing so much enthusiasm and passion towards the brand. Look forward to joining the M2 club soon.

Cheers.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Debating whether to order the H&R springs and wheel spacers in advance or live with the car first. Probably the latter.

Thanks! Misano blue, gold wheels, steel brakes, 6 speed. It’ll be the first blue car I’ve ever owned (although I came within an inch of ordering my 2RS in Miami blue but switched to chalk at the last second).

Seems to be a popular combo based on the polls I just saw!

The LT is a beast and a worthy successor to the 675LT in my opinion. The 15% shorter final drive is quite noticeable and demands extra engagement from the driver, both in terms of coping with the brutal acceleration and frequent gear changes. The sound is among the best I’ve experienced in a turbocharged car thanks to the full titanium exhaust and McLaren’s attention to that dimension of the car.

While I’ve not yet driven the M2 CS, I suspect it and the LT will represent a high point and (sadly) the end of an era in terms of pure ICE driver’s cars.

Congrats on the great drivers collection and welcome! Certainly enjoy hearing the thoughts and comparisons of owners of variety too, so it'll be fun to hear your experiences. I've had a few times out in the 570S and adored that car. It's the only supercar I ever drove that made me willing to consider dealing with the attention and sparse dealers in my area once the finances allow.
