Nope. I'm going to leave them on. Black car, black lips, I'm not worried. Squirrel them away for 50yrs and buy others for when folks are trying to put them back to stock . It'll be the one part no one can find. $$$$

Dave, the US and Canadian market won't have those fender arches!

A few more pictures after the XPel and Gyeon Quartz treatment. The result is a very deep and shiny appearance.

My first impressions (previous car: original M2 (2016)):

Feels really as a different car.
Suspension is a lot better on the road.
Car is a bit quiet at start-up but makes a lovely noise inside while driving.
Suspension is conspicuously less hard in comfort mode. Better cushioning.
As someone who drove both, is the Adaptive Suspension is worthy of all hype and price of admission, over the M2 and I guess by extension, the M2C?

Coming from the OG M2 I am convinced that the adaptive suspension is well worth it.
For me, the Comfort mode is the best setting for daily use, significantly less harsh than both, the OG M2 and the M2 Competition.

The CS is an awesome beast. It has noticeable lots more power than the OG M2. Let's say at least a totally different car.
Currently still looking for the best driving mode settings. My personal and ideal combination of throttle response, steering, drive logic + the adaptive suspension for everyday use.

Thanks!

I always suspected that Adaptive Dampers would make a discernible difference in handling and overall comfort.

I mean, logically, why would BMW bother making it a CS staple and a standard features on all future M cars (verified), if it wasn't beneficial..

Look forward to your feedback, moving forward..

Now that I have driven just over 1500 km I am extremely happy with the CS.
The added value of the adaptive suspension is very striking. Less hard in Comfort mode is an additional comfort for daily rides without compromising stability.
DCT feels better than on the OG M2. Gear changes in D-automated mode are much smoother and more precise in the Sport and Sport+ mode along with the more aggressive Drivelogic modes. They are even faster as well.
I prefer the steering in Comfort mode for everyday use. Sport and Sport+ is the better setting on motorways as resistance increases.
As I mentioned before, no body roll in the tightest turns.
Seats are much more comfortable and provide more body support.
And contrary to what I expected, the Michelin PSS behave much better and offer more comfort than on the OG M2. Behavior on wet roads is equally good. The result of a better suspension?
I don't like the fact that the car always starts in Efficient (throttle), Sport (suspension), Sport (steering) as default mode.
I look forward to going full power after the break-in period.

Winter tires for the M2 CS: did you also look into the option to get the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 before ordering the Contis ?
