OK, what am I missing here? Price (NL): €150,594.90 (± $163K - April 3, 2020)

I have a loaded M3 CS with CCB's and sticker on my car was $111,000, how in the heck is this car 163K???????

If I am not mistaken when this car was displayed at one of the auto shows the price announced was to be around $83K and was verified by Car and Driver & Motor Trend.

Someone help me here!

The Netherlands are crazy on some kind of luxury tax as far as I know. Same spec costs about 100K€ (including tax) in Germany.

Hate
Gloss black wheels (should be satin)
Low hanging muffler (should be tucked in better or painted matte black)
Wheel gap still too big (come the F on)
The price (don't get me started)

Love
Everything else

It's a blast and against all odds maybe it is just me but I believe that sounds different and I guess I like it, but of course, have to hear it with my own ears, maybe would swap it in the future.

Just a nono for me with a "from €100k" price, somehow make me feel that is not THAT awesome when put that variable on my mind.

Awesome find, love it in BSM.

Looks great all black. Look at those CCBs

Gotta step up people and get CCBs with this car. Don't wuss out - that means you dealership order guy. Worth every penny for looks, street cred, no dust and great performance unless u plan to really do a lot of track time in which case maintenance too costly.

So, I had not noticed this on the E9x and F8x, but apparently all BMW CF roofs are this 1x1 pattern, which is different from all the other carbon parts. Must be a cost or yield thing.

It does look kind of crappy up close, but I don't think you notice too much in reality because it's the roof.
I had an e92 M3, my roof didn't look like that.

I think I will get a CF wrap for the roof once the Pando is over.

Wel, Im living in the Netherlands, the land of Taxes and higher Taxes

You lucky guys from the US, cheap cars, low tax rates, low gasoline prices, really you can't complain.

Corona, that really sucks big time, but then again, no different than in the rest of the world

I have to say this thread has given me new perspective on how much things cost elsewhere. It also makes me feel like $85k US is not too bad. Yes, you can get a C for much less, but here you can get a CS for less than what others might pay for the C.

It’s not all roses you know.

Not to get into a political conversation here, but for every perceived advantage there is also a disadvantage somewhere else.

To the topic at hand, this car is too expensive in the US at $84k+. A nicely equipped C8 Vette, a Cayman GTS 4.0, Mustang GT500 and Camaro ZL1 make superb alternatives new. All are faster and arguably drive better as well.

MT for me... This car with MT are matching the record of 450PS (444HP) with the M4 Competition in Europe. In the US, lucky ones, they got even more in M5/6...

I question if those cars will be fun puttering around town? I don't know as I don't own one. My current car tells me no. I think daily fun factor around town might be somewhat attributed to a less planted feeling or maybe less surgical platform?

No place is utopia, but one shouldn't complain too much living in the US.

I love the cars you list for the raw aggression and old school, larger displacement V8s, but the M2/C/CS fits a different niche in my opinion. Sure it's a performance car, but it's a different sort of performance car.
