Food for thought: the M2 CS is a 2020 car. Presented in 2019. Manufactured in 2020.

Except if BMW changes its schedule (unlikely), none will roll out of the BMW Leipzig factory in 2021. Even production of the EURO-spec M2 Competition already ends this Autumn. Nothing '2021' is added to the M2 CS. The only things '2021' related: taking delivery after shipping and payment. But the car itself is a true 2020.

In the end nothing material justifies to call a 2019 model which is manufactured in 2020 without any change, a "2021" in the Summer of 2020 (except if US laws would stipulate something differently): the fact that the US car year labeling has been done this way for decades, doesn't mean that the year count cannot be questioned. It's still 2020 as we speak.

I'm hoping it stays s 2020 and they all get built by the end of the year. From a collectability standpoint you don't want these to become a 2021. Well, the folks that have a 2020 might

F87 M2 CS:

start of production: March 2020;
end of production: December 2020 (earlier for EURO-spec).

This one car must be a NA Market car I am guessing? Clearly some of this information isn't correct.

Lot of weird stuff there - press car? $120k MSRP, but produced 3/6/20?

Maybe a CS Racing? The no upholstery, white color, and price would make sense then. Plus the CS is coded 202W. The next in sequence, 202X could be the next step of the CS Racing.

Weird stuff here: 7F79453 was built on March 6, 2020 (week 10) (early bird, built shortly before the COVID-19 production stop), $120K MSRP, camouflage, Z9XX upholstery.
