Can someone confirm that the M2 CS is the last of this generation M2? Or will there be a CSL?

Unless things have changed don’t think it’s likely we’ll see a F87 CSL :

It makes more sense for CS

Its either the M4 or The M8 that will introduce the first modern CSL.

Out of interest, I just spec'd out a 2019 M2C with EVERY box ticked, including DCT and sunroof, which I would never personally choose myself, but just to get the car to the MAXIMUM price and it came to CAD $82,744, which at today's FX rates is:

USD $62,236
AUD $87,705
EUR 54,902
GBP 46,739
Swiss Fr 62,429

This is before any discounts, which locally, people are getting 5% off right now. Take that and toss out the sunroof, DCT and a few other add-ons I would never buy and the car would come to CAD $73,144, with the local tax in my province that is CAD $82,653.06 so about the same as above TAX IN!!

How in the name of the sweet baby Jesus are you guys paying +100K EUR for this car???

That is almost double!!!

Welcome to tax land, we pay 23% over the normal price, then you have more two taxes for poluiton and using our great public roads, so yes in Europe germany can be 50K and that traslate to 88k in Portugal. The sun is very expensive here

Yes...but sunshine hours in Portugal vs. Germany, it's probably a wash!

You pay 23% as Germany pays 19%, then you pay the car's corresponding added tax which is an insane amount and what makes the difference.
Tax for driving on the public road is also paid in most countries, check how much would pay in Brazil and you'll be happy with your ~600-700 EUR/year.

My M2C was 70.000 EUR list price in DE and would have cost 84.000 EUR in PT. There are worse countries comparing to Portugal...

The sun almost never shines overhere, it's pretty cold and flat overhere.
But we do have hookers and pot on every streetcorner!

Gents, stop it. Don't make me laugh. APAC guys didn't make a sound on car price yet.

Get back to the M2 CS. Let's make some constructive suggestion when BMW marketing employee is still listening with this thread.

1) Color change, please. That can make or kill the deal.
2) Add more value to the CS please. For example, add carbon fender or/and trunk. Otherwise, for MY2020/2021, the F87 CS would be a terrible value at 85K, compared to the G82 M4 at 70k.

I'd love an M color unique to the CS. San Marino would be nice. :]

I wish for the side carbon fenders, looks too sexy

Think the power is enough at first, (445hp)
Just keep it nice and low

Is that about right?

Things I'd be looking for to make the jump outside of whats already rumored:
-Additional Color Options (Individual maybe? But I know thats a long shot)
-Additional Interior Options (colors and materials)
-CS specific seats, not just a unique color
-OLED Taillights
-Unique CS front lip or bumper design (not just regular M performance)
-Beefed up sway-bars, chassis bracing
-Heads up display as an option
-Agreed on CF fenders and truck as options

With all due respect, I don't think BMW will bespoke make any parts for the M2 CS. Meaning we can pretty much forget about the OLED tail light, exclusive front lip and bumper.

We do only reasonable wishful thinking - fender and trunk.

Though Color is first thing they can do.

I'm at my dealer's right now and parked my car next to a Misano blue X2. LBB doesn't really stand out under weak lighting but I'll leave the judgement to you guys.

Just like the original M2 is quoted 370hp in Europe, the M2 CS will be quoted 450hp under the metric system.

"Royale With Cheese" M2...

What about CFRP driveshaft?

We all know dropping CFRP on F8x was nothing more than a cost measure as the shaft diameter is actually smaller than a steel one.

Being CS(aka money making limited model), shouldn’t they at least offer CFRP driveshafts like M3/M4?

All else being perfect, I suspect this M2 will be the best buy by a long shot considering they fcked up big time by making 2 series GC FWD..
