US Military Sales for Germany, for those that qualify -

Where was this info shared? Thought they were limited to only 12.

Im tempted to do dct as I am going to have this as a backup dedicated track car/backup mommy car.

But I am a manual guy that is getting old and lazy.

Limited to 12 if there are less than 12 buyers. If demand is higher, they will sell as much as they can. Wonder why there is no production plate on delivered cars?

I believe so.. 11 of the 12 sold from the original release (1 left in stock ready to deliver) and 5 New slots now available to customize. They have been ordered already but still able to be changed as of now.

It's why I went DCT as my wife will sometimes drive it and she's not as confident with the manual. Also I drive my current DCT F80 in manual mode and love it. It's very different to an auto box. I'm always surprised to hear about DCT drivers who never take it out of Auto drive mode.

I ordered 6MT. I think if I were buying this with track day focus as primary role, then I'd go DCT. I'd want to focus more on the driving than the shifting, and keeping both hands on the wheel all the time seems more safe.

Agreed on that, it is surprising. In my E46 I always drive it in manual mode. Shrugs...

You cannot go wrong about the DCT in the track. People buy these cars for different reasons.

It's one of the reasons why I went with manual, so my wife CAN'T drive it.

Nothing's going to sway me in to liking those new kidney grilles.

The moment I saw the 4 series grill I put an order down on the M2 CS and have not looked back.

Nope, it's supposed to be week 41, which if I remember correctly means the estimate a week for completion, and not the week that it begins production.
