On the U.K. configurator you can choose which tyre ...but I heard they CUP2 Connect were not shopping just yet.
OP will let us know, just speculating.

OGM2; harsh, too stiff, bumping, non compliant, especially while driving slow/inner-city driving. Sometimes annoyingly bad. The whole interior shook up sometimes. M2CS; comfort setting, very very compliant suspension, no harshness what so ever, just he way it should be. It's damping/suspension character is nearly on par with my previous 981 Cayman GTS PASM, the Porsche is still better, but for BMW understanding this is the best suspension I ever had compared to all my previous BMW`s Last edited by Romo; 08-06-2020 at 02:25 PM.. |

Nearly 700 km total now; Comparisons M2OG vs M2CS; 1 Engine revs far more freely, faster, smoother, effortless 2 While still running in, its obvious the car is much faster 3 CCB have a strong, directe bite to it, immediate presence, it is instant clear what their job is, they leave no doubt to their potential what so ever 4 Dials/readability is just superb, so much better also compared to modern Digital Dash BMW`s 5 Suspension on the highest BMW level ever to me 6 Road presence; German; ÜBERHOLPRESTIGE is max |

I do like the smallest M BMW, as I do like the smallest GT Porsche i.e. GT4 The smaller the better. Analog gauges as In CS are just the best, I dislike the DigiDash in modern BMW`s, IMHO it is a total ergonomically disaster, overflow on information which is nor strictly useful nor necessary. BMW always stood for form follows function, for ergonomically being the best, but here it's a major let down to me. Last edited by Romo; 08-06-2020 at 02:27 PM.. |

Manual is top, meaning shifter, but the gearing is still to long. PDK has better ratios. After my 981 Cayman GTS PDK I was flabbergasted how good that PDK was, second to none (and I'm really a MT guy) I knew instantly I wanted a GT4 with PDK, the 981 GT4 was only a MT, if PDK had been available I had bought one. The 718 GT4 is coming withe PDK, EU Porsche announing probably 10-2020 Last edited by Romo; 08-06-2020 at 02:28 PM.. |

Beautiful car!
I live in California but am Dutch. Schitterend op, genieten! En straks ook van de GT4. I just traded in my 991 911 for a M3 zcp due to family expansion! You have best of both worlds!
