Let the people do whatever they feel fitting to their vehicle.

Jesus was a mythical figure anyway and those paintings are merely just artistic interpretation of descriptions passed on. Not that much different from customizing your ride, to match your vision.

Still can't believe those are BMW stock wheels. The brake / wheel combo is bonkers.

No wonder this car gets you all the ladies!

The M2 is already very appealing to the younger audience

Luckily we are still in the early years of the M2 where cost is still a factor... I daresay in 5-6 yrs time when they become more affordable, there will be a lot more of those icecream containers above the wheels on a lot of M2s.

Hopefully reviews in the car mags are coming soon as usually they review the cars prior to them hitting the US. Usually they use the European version for the review.

UPDATE. So far I've managed to put 1,850 km (1,150 miles) on the odometer. Fortunately my dealer (best there is! BMW Imagen Motors) has confirmed I can take the car in for its initial service today. WAIT IS OVER GUYS! Hopefully I will be able to put this beast through its paces this weekend. That will be a cool birthday present! Will keep you posted!

I currently have an OG M2 with no experience with the M2 Competition. Is the speed and power of the M2 CS night and day different from the OG M2? Is it noticeably apparent from the get-go?

New wheel arch stripes/fenders are gone! I was hesitant to remove them at first but thanks to my good friend Dr. Devilcars' advice I took the plunge

They are not just a simple strip but rather a bulky piece of plastic. Also, once removed you'll find a vinyl strip adhered to the car. We've managed to remove everything without any issues.

Do you have an idea for what purpose those extensions serve after all
I expect my BSM CS within 2 weeks now. As it will be treated immediately with Xpel and Coating I could ask to remove the extensions at the same time.

Per previous threads and comments, its part of EU safety (???) regs - TBD on whether they actually be included on US-spec cars

That is absolutely insane that those pieces are that big too
