Interesting... how limited run are these going to be? I'm guessing they will be like the 1M.

I'm going to be looking for a new car come August next year, wonder if these are still going to be around for order?
I agree, I think this car will be limited. Most people just don't want to hear it. We shall see.

I also think that there may be a new car next year .... I would think that we shall have a csl announced next year. Just don't know which model.

If the 1M is our guide, that will be one of the last details added to the car.

I was all set to pick up a new Mini F56S as a new daily driver until I started hearing/reading about this new M2. Now Im going to wait to see the unveiled production car with price/options until I make my final decision. LBB or MG are my only two color choices here because AW and black are too boring for me on this smaller car.

You are only limited by your dreams.

For example this is the original picture with the "Room"

And this picture half as Photoshop by me without that little "room"

And also close up. Now obviously BMW would done a better job then me in Photoshop but this is just my idea on what i would love the headlight to be on the 2 series.

With the "Room"

Without the "Room"

The sunken in headlights unquestionably make it look more aggressive.

It was definitely the designers intention. Without the pocket it looks far more bland.

This question has been answered 10000000 times.

The BMW M2 will get M mirrors at the full reveal. Until then it will have normal mirrors.

The production car will have M mirrors, just like the 1M.

Loving it!.... But my only gripe is that it's looks so lifted. I hope the final doesn't looks as tall on the 19s. Maybe some extended sideskirts or something. From the side it looks like it could be an X2 lol.

I wish! One day, it might look like that haha. That's my favorite color combo.
Having said that, the Vaders are so hilariously bad seats that I don't see myself switching out these seats for another set unless the cloth ones are better

The front overhang is very small and that is great! Also, the hood design seems much cleaner than F80's which I can't stand. The front and rear end design I won't comment as it is not fully revealed.

Two major areas of concern: steering feel and weight.

I want one but I am not ordering until I drive one.

So far it looks promising ...

Considering many people had to buy the M235i before being able to test drive one, I'm wondering how hard it will be with the M2. I'm thinking you'll have to rely on magazines and fortunate forum fellows who can comment on how it feels in relation to the M235i and the M3/4.

I agree it sits a little too high. But, I think this car will be perfect for me. I won't drop it and I want it in Laguna Seca, not Long Beach.

And, as a 6-time repeat buyer at my dealership (which is next door to my office), I won't be able to get a test drive...will order sight unseen...depressing.

Amazingly... every one says the 1M.. sits too high.... lol..

#Be happy you get one! If you hate it when it comes in.. Drive it around the block and sell it back to the dealer for 5K markup to the next guy waiting in line and then go buy a Porsche.

Are you in the Hoosier Chapter? Indy is my hometown.

I keep going back and forth between MG and LBB. LBB really pops but MG looks awesomely stealth with the black 19's. Add a black front grille and rear carbon spoiler to MG and nothing can touch it.

If the M2 does not get the M4 steering it will be dissapointing.
The M235i steering was a show stopper for me.

Weight will not differ a lot from M235i weight. Dont expect wonders.

MG looks bloody awesome in the correct light and it is washed. But on an overcast day and/or a bit dirty it is so boring and that bothers me quite a bit.
