Home made blackouts

I decided to save some dough and blacked out my LCI myself. Painted M2 badging, powder coated exhaust tips myself with harbor freight gun. Cut out vinyl and blacked out reflectors on the car without removal. Oh and painted that gawky chrome license surround. I also painted side markers as well and bought black gloss m mirror covers. Past the cosmetics installed fabspeed sport cat, sounds awesome with stock exhaust now.

You can’t spray paint chrome directly. The paint won’t stay on for long. Will have to use chemical to special treat the chrome first then spray paint.

I plastidipped my front badge matte black. It could be an alternative to using normal paint. It seemed to have no problem sticking on the chrome and has survived a couple of washes without coming loose.

Washed multiple time no issues, just will repaint if or when no biggie.

I plastidipped my side gills too. They held quite well but looked not as nice and smooth as regular paint if look closely. But for the price, still worth it.
