Seat straightening kit?

I love my 2018 M2 but the crooked seat is driving me crazy. It would be great if BMW sold a seat straightening kit!

Any vendors have something that'll be certified safe? Long drives really end up bothering the neck and back...I'm tired of facing the left front corner of the hood while driving.

Thanks,

The US seat faces to the right. Can't believe you didn't notice that. Go for a drive. Report back.

I'm in Canada. When I sit comfortably in the car I'm looking at the left headlight. I'll check again today but there's no way I'm facing the other way lol

Same here - I don't really notice anything, maybe I'm sitting incorrectly

I agree. They said the same thing on my M235i. I didn’t notice it in either BMW.

Definitely angled slightly to the left. In no way impedes my enjoyment of the car. Going to continue driving the hell out of it!

Is the seat actually at an angle?...or is it moved over closer to the transmission tunnel....because that dead pedal is a ****h to get to at times.

I had a 2017 M2 and now a 2020 M2C.

I did not and do not notice it.

I am definitely not facing my left headlight.

If we're as bad as you say, you'd have a hard time comfortably placing your left foot on the dead pedal b/c the side bolster would be in the way. I have NEVER heard anyone make this particular complaint.

Enjoy the car. If you can't, sell it. But don't let obsessing over the little stuff ruin the enjoyment of your purchase!

Here is my view. Dead straight. Look at the left headlight area (drivers side in the US). I had heard this before but I don't feel tilted at all in any direction in my 2020 M2C

they slightly tilted the seats to meet US crash standards without have to redesign the whole seat. its probably off by 1-2 degrees at most.

US crash standards are high moving targets, that why you dont see any chinese cars here yet.

Outside the US they might not have changed it at all.

drove 12hrs straight in my m2 and i didnt have any neck or back pain.

I was worried about this before driving the car, since my neck is sensitive to this kind of thing. However I drove the car over a thousand miles in 2 days and felt no bad effects on my neck. Perhaps the M2c seats are slightly straighter?

From Motortrend:

"The seats are wonderfully supportive, though the driver's seat is not centered behind the steering wheel. In fact, it's also not aimed straight ahead. With the driver seated inboard of the wheel, BMW angled the seat — and especially the seatback — toward the left-front corner of the car. It's a cheap trick, and one that only perfectionists would notice. BMW should still be catering to perfectionists."

If you never would have read that article you could be blissfully ignorant that anything was amiss😃
