I hate to be that guy but they overcooked the design; there's just too much going on, for it to look appealing..
I hope they don't also fvck up the next gen M2.. For reference, I had saved photos of the F-generation 2 Series, hours after it dropped and I was instantly attracted to its subtle but elegant styling but this monstrosity looks like they we're trying too hard, to maybe make it appear different but failed miserably. |

It actually looks pretty good,if that really is the new 2 series. The kidney grille design is similar to the G30 and looks so much nicer than the huge one on the new M3 and M4.Its nicely proportioned with the front end design of the car.The rear of the car also looks good. The new M2 should be a great looking car based on this design.

Yes, it's the new model BMW and everyone is trying to keep an open mind, I guess but I can't lie to myself, they really screwed the pooch on this one and I say that objectively. Last edited by Poochie; 04-26-2020 at 04:17 AM.. |

These look like "lose your job photos". Be careful. Probably not difficult to figure out who was responsible for moving this car, or who was in this elevator.

Same here, I was holding out for a G-Series M2 but after this bland design and the fact that the M2 is merely just a tarted up 2 Series, I see little hope for something satisfying in appearance.
You take away the front grille and doesn't even look anything like a BMW but maybe a run-of-the-mill Infiniti and you see how well that's working out for Nissan. |

The rear end looks exactly like the leaked photos of the G gen 4 Series - but just supersized..
