Oil balancing after change dct oil?

Hi guys,

I just changed my car's dct oil and filters, just start the car, run for a while then refill the oil.

I didn't do oil balancing with ista.

Is it necessary for me to do oil balancing with ista now?

Just drived about 500km after dct oil change.

You should be fine. The ista procedure is to modulate oil so that you circulate more of the old oil out.

More importantly was if you actually drain and filled at the required temperature to ensure proper levels.

Thanks for your reply.

Finally I did the oil balancing in local workshop and checked the oil level.

Luckily, no need to add more oil.
