What height, weight, age is everyone here? I'm 6'2, 195 lbs turning 40 in Feb.
Only recently started taking a multivitamin again, feeling a bit more consistent energy throughout the day.

Happy New Year!
I'm 33 , 6'4" , 270 lbs ( I screwed up massively over the past 2 years lol ) Going to start taking proper nutrition, and the gym seriously again to get back down to 220 and in shape . It's just so easy to skip one day, then 2, then its been 2 years since I have been consistent lol. I used to take it very seriously, waking up at 4am to lift etc , my relationship has caused/allowed me to slack off which is no longer acceptable to me.

It is, and hate to break it to you but if you let things get in your way in the past likely will happen again. Working out it a continual internal drive not something you do when its convenient.

5' 10" anywhere from 185-205. Probably sitting dead in the middle at 195 right now, although it's not unrealistic for me to shift 10lbs in any direction throughout a week or two. I never set weights as targets, rather mirror results. So no weight goal in mind, rather just to lean out a little bit while maintaining muscle mass.

5" 7" / 5' 8" and I range from a pretty lean 180ish (~7%) in the summer to around 210 in the winter. At that weight though I'm usually right around the 12% bf range.

The plan this year is to settle in at about 200lbs and get as lean as I can at that weight and just maintain.

So with a typical stress-filled life, often awakening at 0200 to worry about random daily life shit (dog's itchy ears, 77 Beetle we can't find parts to get smogged, work, which fertilizer to use, dad's shingles, ...) how to control cortisol WAY too early in the a.m.??? Seems no matter what I do in terms of insulin dosing, short of setting an alarm for 2:00 so I can take a shot and THEN worry, I can't get my fasting bs under 200. Dr. is telling me I need better sleep/reduced stressors, but that just doesn't seem to be an option.

Yesterday was the last day of the family being in town, so I didn't manage to get to the gym. Did go for a 3 mile run doing on/off sprints so at least managed to do something.

Today was chest day, felt pretty solid in there. Had a few new year resolutioners in there unfortunately. Although they weren't in my way so no complaints. The early morning resolutioners usually fall off more easily then the later in the day ones haha. Sometimes it is a battle getting up in the morning!

Excited for some good progress this year!

PR, fastest time in 2-4 mile distance in this decade yesterday.

Actually, in the 2+ years I've used Runkeeper, that was my PR. Got some new New Balance Foam shoes that I wore for the first time. Not sure if coincidence or not.

I had a realization this morning in the shower, of how close to the precipice of 250+lbs I really am. Just barely hanging on by my fingernails. It would be SO much easier to just eat ALL the shit I like, fuck the gym, only sweat when I eat going forward, and fall inside a bottle too.
