I've moved from #2 allocation to #1! The first guy on the list decided to wait for a later build so I just got a confirmed production #(3899###) with a 111 order status. My SA told me that it currently shows week 36 production, but that it could get moved up to an earlier build once it goes to 112.
Confirmed allocation slot received on: June 23, 2018 Build Week: 36* Dealership name and/or Location: Buffalo, NY LBB, Blue Stitching, 6-Speed, Executive, Black 788M MSRP plus any available discounts (college grad, loyalty program).

When you guys placed your deposit what did you get from your dealer as "proof"? I just placed a deposit for one at MSRP and something is bothering me in the back of my head like this can't be real I got a quote with option/fee breakdown and unpaid balance info. My CA also said delivery in 6-8 weeks which is unrealistic now that I think about it. I'll be calling him back tomorrow.

So any idea what an M2 CS with most port install will run? I am guessing around $80K. For that price or very close to you can find a GTS. Buddy of mine just picked one up for $87K with only 300 miles on it.

You have have to try out of town or out of state. For me I had deposit down in 3 states. Unless you don't want to do PCD or pay transportation fee, staying local may be the best option for you. If your in ATL I would just to PCD.

Have the vehicle inquiry form but still waiting on the production number. I was number 2 on the list. The guy/girl that got number one already has a production number but not until November 12th. Guess my dealer only got one early allocation and I'm awaiting to see when their next one will be.
Oh well, this is a summer car for me anyway... guess it will just be for NEXT summer.

I've found that there are several ways to get info. Your CA will probably get tired of you calling every day ;-) I think that the most accurate info comes from BMW NA, at least you know that they will tell you the truth. Call the BMW Genius at (844) 443-6487 and give him your production number. If you don't have a BMW profile, sign up for one at the BMW USA website first then ask to have your production number attached to your profile. Good Luck.
