IDrive doesn't update time zone automatically?

Did someone else notice that when you drive across time zone boundaries the clock doesn't update automatically? Even when "automatic time setting" is selected...
Seems the only way to update is to unselect and again select automatic time setting...

It does automatically but it can be delayed to the next time the car pings the connected drive server. Up clicking and clicking the automatic change box forces a ping to the server.

Didn't update on its own in about 20 hours... I would think they connect more often - or just get it from the GPS signal...

Interesting. We have done a few cross-country drives, and it usually took 30min-1hr after we crossed the time zone for it to auto change (when we didn't force change it for some reason). To be fair we were continuously driving during that time.

I noticed this as well. Was across into CST for 2 days and mine never updated.
