HPDE Groups at Laguna Seca
Hello gents,
Can someone recommend a good group to run with at Laguna Seca? I am planning to fly in with a couple of friends for a 1 day track day on a Saturday this year. We will need to rent a Miata for each of us as well. Please let me know a good place for a track car rental. TIA!

I’ve driven there with both Hooked on Driving and NCRC. Both were well run and offered a good amount of track time per day, though NCRC was several years ago. HOD was just last May. They were both also welcoming of an out of town visitor. I’ll drive with either group again without hesitation.

Interested on where to rent track cars for Laguna, I need to go to Cali sometime in the future to see friends (everyone is having babies it seems and I have managed to hide for enough time but soon will have to go meet em) and would love to drive Laguna

Thanks guys. All good suggestions. Beside LS, any track in S Cal worth a trip? I heard good things about Willow, Sonoma and Buttonwillow.
Would love to try Thunderhill but that might be another weekend.

Buttonwillow, Sonoma, and Thunderhill East are really fun. Sonoma is really unique due to its layout but there’s some dangerous spot which are really close to the walls. Sonoma and Laguna can be combined in one trip since they are relatively close. I personally like Thunderhill East more than buttonwillow.
