Well, I am glad you are happy with the way they turned out, and that is really all that matters. I hope they look good on the car and I will be looking forward to seeing them mounted. Personally, I am not a fan, they have a very aftermarket appearance to them.

Kudos for doing this; I'm just not sold on the overall design. I understand progression and evolution, but to me, there's nothing "Iconic" about hexagonal halos. Angel eyes, kidney grills, and the Hofmeister kink are hallmarks of BMW.

You can spot any BMW instantly by its halos. These days, every car on the road has some iteration of LED rings/strips/dots/ etc etc. But you could still spot a BMW...

I just have to get used to the design I guess, if this is the direction BMW is going...

But it looks well done...

Thanks for your opinion! I think they'll be a big hit when on the car but some of the older guys on the forum probably won't like them still, understandably.

Thanks! I think the build quality is superb. I doubt it wont be recognizable as a BMW but we'll see... It still clearly represents a set of angel eyes with the eyebrow. With the kidney grills, too, I mean, I don't see how it still won't scream BMW. Its not like I did Audi style lights or anything.

Not a fan of them but as long as you like them, that is all that matters.

Did you consider just waiting for the LED headlights from the 2018 M2 LCI that will be available next year?

I did consider that. Being that the Xenons currently go for $2,700 a pair after taxes, I'd assume the new ones will be closer to $3,700 per pair before any shipping costs. All in all it would come out to fair bit more expensive to get the LCI ones, and also they would still have chrome in them.

I am a big fan of the blackout job they did with mine. Also, you'd also have to pay for a software update and labor to get that software running for the newer OEM ones.

Plus, I bet my headlights will look right at home with the very newest ones, and I get them for cheaper and a year earlier.

It also makes my car unique. I love the look. I don't see anything wrong with them other than that they're not as 'classic' I guess, and more flashy. Which I'm sure is the source of the "Back in my day" type opinions of those who are most likely older than me. But it's still a valid opinion, I just don't care about being 'classic' if classic to me is chrome and less inspiring.

I'm not crazy about the design on our M2. Would look great on an exotic though.

Can they do anything about the rear lights?
Damn BMW for making such a boring cluster at the back.

Should have been a factory option, this will look so sinister. Please take tons of installed pics from numerous angles!

I like the eye brows as turn signals. I think that will be cool AF. We are going to need videos and shit too. Congrats.

Flaunting my ignorance here. What makes LED so much better? My 328i has Xenon and my wife's X6 has LED. It was a pricey upgrade for the X6 and, to be honest, I don't think I really notice a difference when driving.

I mean sure, that's a valid opinion. I personally don't care about that. These look much more upscale and aggressive in my opinion, and besides, all BMWs are phasing over to a Hexagonal design regardless. I couldn't really care less about the circular heritage but that's probably because I'm much younger.
I really meant that I like the round and think the hexagonal shape will get old after a while, but doesn't really matter, as long as you like it.

Hey did he just call me old! lol.

They only do fromt lights. I'm planning on getting the updated LCI ones once they're out. They'll be like 800 a pair. Versus probably 3,500 a pair for the LCI headlights.

The headlights themselves are still xenon. I agree with you in terms of lighting performance, LED and Xenon are pretty close. My angel eyes and eyebrow are now full LED, which isn't the case with stock Xenon Headlights. My eyebrow is also now my blinker, which will blink yellow.

Have you finally got these installed? Really curious how they look on the M2 and can't find your installed photo's anywhere.
