Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the garage
not a BMW was charging, not even an XM EV.
The stockings were hung by the antennas with care,
in hopes that X BMW designer Marcus Syring soon would be there.
The BMW enthusiasts were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of bigger turbos danced in their heads.
And Mama in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the driveway there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
gave the PPF lustre of midday to objects below,
when, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a BMW M4 CSL with it’s 6 turbo charged cylinders.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be BMW‘s Bill Auberlen.
More rapid than eagles, his courses they came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
“Now Spengler!
Now Edwards!
Now, De Phillippi and Verhagen!
On, Glock! On, Hesse!
On, Krohn and Harpe! To the top of the grid!
To the top of the charts!
Now Race away! Race away!
Race away all!”

That's all the further I'm going, you're on your own from here on.

Talking of something different,

OH wanted to know if I wanted to share a can of Guinness , philistine <SMH>
and also for attempting to drink it outta can instead of how nature intended.

DD was drinking a can of pop and trying to hide it from OH (she's not allowed pop) she had a bag, so I said, put it in the bag, no-one will know it's a pop.

Then I realised I just taught my daughter how to be a wino

BTW in the UK, we can drink alcohol on the street, in a bus, park etc, with no bag, but we can't be publicly intoxicated
