While production has resumed, it appears to be at a much slower rate than recent past.
Nov 1 total was 8 cars (VD36340 - VD36347) Nov 2 is 8 cars (VD36348 - VD36355) Nov 3 ?? Last edited by Wharf Rat; 11-02-2017 at 02:33 PM.. |

Those of Canadians who want additional eyes on tracking where majority of you are not be able to get access, I can help u on tracking using CN website as I do have the access ID with CN.
But please keep in mind that CN will show the tracing once it gets loaded on their railcar. Using W&W website, you can definitely know when your car will be discharged at Halifax. From there, you will have to wait until gets on the rail and this waiting time will totally depends on how busy CN is and when BMW Canada arranges the rail booking, and also your port-installed options (such as MPE). |

I'm VD36416. I think the 800 number said should finish Nov 8th, but it might have been 9th.
I ordered my wife a Benz (GLC300) and their tracking is so much worse than BMW. You have to call your service advisor directly and they have to look it up for you. I like the BMW 800 line so much better, this way your dealer doesn't have to know how pyscho you are to get the car. Her car is just getting into Davisville from Breverhaven. It took about 7 days to cross, but it still has to go through Panama to get to us on the west coast. Her BMW lease is up the 19th and I already extended it 2 months. I'm going to call and see if they'll let it slide a few more weeks. Fingers crossed. |

Got my ETA today with production at Nov 2nd.
SA said that system showing Dec 5th delivery which I think it is too early. As mine will be at VPC Halifax for MPE installation, it will delay for about 2 weeks. And also found that it uaully take 20 days until vehicles gets sailed on from Bremerhaven these days from the date showing of the production with VIN decoder. I was looking at W&W forwarding trace using some VIN info, and looks like VD36322 has been arrived now at Bremerhaven port terminal and waiting for the vessel to come and PU.
VD36322 hit its production date at Oct 26th taking almost 2 weeks to get it shipped from the port after production date showing, and will be heading towards Baltimore, MD. Hoping to see mine on W&W in few days as well. |
