JC - I'm right behind you at week 32. I check religiously as well and no movement on the tracker, but when I spoke to a customer service person at MBW NA they found my car and told me it was scheduled for the 32nd week. I guess the tracker lags? Does anyone know how accurate it really is?
I hear ya man. Quick question, was there a typo on the second week 32 you mentioned? Week 32 is the week of Aug 3rd. I don't think you will see any movement on the MyBMW tracker this early.

Some people have advised that the week given is the actual week the vehicle will be completed for production. However, you may see the vehicle go into status 150 2-3 weeks beforehand. If this is true, then it makes sense I that I received my vin this week. I am exactly 3 weeks out from my scheduled production week.

If I use the same principle for your scenario. You will received your vin and status 150, earliest week of July 20th

Yes, I have been told its the first week in August. I have also read its the week production is completed. Thanks for the dates, it does make sense. More waiting! I should be accepting of it by now.....but I'm not!

I want you to go to sleep and we will wake you up when you M2C is ready for delivery at the dealership

Of course, I am just joking with you . . . try to be patient. It will be here before you know it!

Go drive that beautiful X5 around and just pretend you are in your M2C.

@Mavallone I am with you brother! Even though I should just let it go and wait, I for some odd reason feel compelled to check the status everyday! And worst part, I get excited for tiny virtually useless updates, case in point, status 150 3 weeks before production competition...lol we will get through this together!

///AVM how about you let me borrow your GTS while I wait. Deal?! That will certainly help me pass the time! Thank you so much, just let me know when I can pick it up! 😉

Hahaha!

Well, very honestly JC, I am not sure the GTS would be all that much fun in NYC. . . it needs to be out in open spaces.

If I lived in NYC I would be asking you for your X5 or, possibly, your bicycle.

I do know you are relocating to a more rural setting and will have your M2C by then . . . all will be good in your world.

Intuitive guy, almost all of NYC streets resembles the Gaza Strip; totally war-torn like.

No joke, I budget for a new tire, like every month.

However, I have no kids, so an SUV would be too much for me and I'm probably a glutton for punishment.

Here a photo of a local street, close me to, this is what I consider glass-smooth roads:

Poochie

Yes, seriously, WHERE you live is a huge factor in what car you drive . . . I tell people all the time my choice in cars is dependent upon where I live, which happens to be a rural area on the boarder with BFI.

I can live above 4K RPMs and not endanger me or those around me. I can enjoy my sport car and, now, sporty coupe in the manner they were intended to be driven.

If JC were staying in NYC I'd tell him to buy a bus pass. . . not an M2C.

Aside from the matter of congested roadways, I did not know the quality of roads was so poor in NYC.

Yea bro, beside the massive congestion, high auto insurance rate, 25MPH speed cameras, on every block, the tarmac are also physically dilapidated.

That and the looters made a mess of lower & midtown Manhattan; 5th Ave is no longer is richest Avenue in the world, all the stores are currently boarded up and looks abandon - but that's another topic.

I have a love/hate relationship with this city but it certainly not a place for automotive enthusiast or sporty cars..

@Poochie of course you don't use the car within the city. Simply no need!

But, imagine waking up early on a Saturday morning. NYC being relatively quiet, you hit the parkway and head for Harriman state park, do some hill climbs 😂

Way before COVID was a thing, I used to stay up until 3AM, when everyone is asleep and then go for a ride, within the city limits..

Now that everyone is at home, 3AM is like the new 10PM, so I lost my one refuge.

But thanks for the advice, I'll jot that location down..

Guys, try the Hudson Valley or north west CT, stop in at Lime Rock! There are plenty of places nearby to exercise an M2C!

Guys,

I've received my VIN today and is now in 150 status.
Also confirmed on my VIN that my car has 437M wheels so the production has not ended for those just yet for my region.

I love driving in Manhattan! I feel like i'm in those 70s arcade car racing games weaving from lane to lane, getting ahead of the cabbies, avoiding jay walkers/bikers potholes, hitting all the green lights. So engaging and fun, and awakening of all the senses. When I usually get into Manhattan I spend a good hour or two driving (and driving my passengers crazy), before I park for the weekend.

I went through Philly on a big classic FL Harley in rush hour going to a south Jersey beach. Video game is exactly what it was like. You bring your “A Game” on a motorcycle.

I'm not sure but I hope he did.

I'm certainly not judging, I was making a similar trek, just a few hours ago

Edit: His follow-up below, them seem to have thrown the book at him... Sounds very NYC DMV, where the highest speed limit is a draconian 50MPH, max.

Nice! our cars are probably going to cross paths at some point during assembly. Mine started production on the 20th but weirdly my 10th digit is a 0
