Just saw the CS rear spoiler on a real M2C. Pictures do it no justice. Looks great in person, much better than the MP, imho. Now thinking about getting one myself.

I was finally able to pick up my M2CS spoiler today and noticed this little defect.

It's not a scratch but instead is under the epoxy and looks like it could be the edge of the carbon fiber fabric. Otherwise the entire spoiler is perfect.

Is this normal or no?

No, this is not normal. It should come free of defect if it is OEM.

Agreed. Would send it back regardless if oem or a replica!

I could not wait and asked the dealer to use whatever they have. They used some other adhesive tape, which they use for attaching the rear spoiler for X6M F86, plus they also used some sealant in addition
What sealant did BMW used? Are we talking about caulking or clear sealant around the edge?

I plan to get the CS spoiler but trying to understand where to put the 3M tape.

Recently installed my CS spoiler and love how it turned out. Really transforms the rear!

The CS spoiler adds a great look to the back. I ordered one last spring just when Covid hit. It took over 10 months to arrive but it was worth the wait!

I believe most of the online BMW vendors have plenty in stock now.

I would send that back. The finish on my oem CS spoiler is perfect.

Is removing a port-installed M performance spoiler worth the trouble? I assume they use betalink at port and it’s going to be a real pain to remove safely without damaging the paint.

Is this a genuine cs spoiler? No hate - but just looks a bit different from other pics in this thread.

Very hard to tell from his picture. There's a lot of distortion going on in that first shot.

No it's not OEM. It's from RW Carbon. From what I have seen this one is a little more aggressive than the OEM one.

Cools thanks - I'm still deciding whether to go oem or not.

Yes - I noted the two side flicks/portions of the non-oem spoiler are a touch more pronounced than the oem cs spoiler.
