M2 CS with M Carbon Fenders?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Itching to maybe do this- I thought I saw a few on youtube but can't seem to find them anymore. Anyone seen a CS with them?

These babies - paint matched - gives it a more recent design look I think?

I know someone else on here with a CS took delivery or had these done right after delivery? I thought I saw it posted in the photos thread and really wanted to see more photos of it on a CS, but couldn't dig them up.

Still contemplating whether I wanted to do this or not...

I didn’t like them at first but I like them now and think it’ll be a good differentiator to just look a little different among the crowd. I wouldn’t want to touch the paint on the doors though

Too bad that BMW did not fit those as standard feature on the M2 CS. I rooted for it in the past (see here).

To my knowledge, forum member cptJLPicard (Canada) was the first to fit those. He has exactly the same setup (MB - 6MT - 2NH - GLD 763M - Cup2 - MPP CFRP fenders - MPP CFRP side winglets), except for the steering wheel position: left hand drive versus right hand drive.

The material is of course great but replacing the side vents with something that looks an angry bat's dive bombing excrement never quite worked for me. What were they thinking with this?

That's a pretty heavy handed opinion, the stock steel fenders don't have vents, but the carbon fenders actually have a real vent for airflow from the wheel well. They actually come with different fender liners to allow air to pass through the fenders.

I can't picture that, but sure!
