iDrive In M2CS

While driving yesterday my iDrive kept restarting continuously. Anyone have this issue? I tried to do a software update but was surprised it doesn’t have OTA and instead asks for USB. Did they remove over the air update on the M2CS? I recall I had the option on my M2.

Mine actually ran a couple OTA updates the first month I had the car and restarted both times. I haven't had any other issues.

My iDrive went all crazy in the 1st month I had the car, restarting all the time and weird kind of noises, like the ticking of a clock.

Then it broke down completely.

Completely replaced under warranty

I heard the ticking noise as well. I only had the car for a week. I'll reach out to the dealer to get it fixed then. Thanks.

Interesting, not sure why mine doesn't have the OTA option showing, unless it's missing a SIM. I'll get it checked.
