I believe there are extra mounts for the splitter too you might want to get, unless you're planning on mounting it some non-standard way.
Thanks for the tip.

Do you know exactly what mounts are needed? Can’t seem to find them.

We need to get a retrofit for EDC going. The non-m 2 series had edc on some, im sure there a harness and module combo that will work with maybe a little ISTA programming but surprised no one has done it, once thats figured out m4 edc struts would be plug and play.

I would be SHOCKED if that was the case.. pull the front cover and stiffening plate, and you can see the front sway easily.

Unlike the F3X line, the front goes UNDER the subframe rather than over, so appears to be:

1. Unbolt each endlink
2. Unbolt the brackets

BAM.. done.

Reverse order for install, torque and open a beer 8)

Now that said.. I will know soon enough as I just ordered the bar, bushings and the kidney screens. 8) I will post a DIY about it as well.

I am also considering the M2 CS Racing Front Fascia Grille Mesh.

I see the center most intercooler / L&R intakes and Kidney Radiator Mesh, but don't see the item called out in the attached images..

Anyone have any idea on that?

Thanks in advance!
I am really happy about the kidney grills myself.. just installed the Zunsport lower grills which look fantastic, so the OEM grill behind the kidneys will complete the whole set.

I just replaced my OEM oil cooler and even though I cleaned it out a bit ago, was FLOORED by the amount of garbage and rocks on it even at 19k miles total.

The motor mount solution is was new to me, very interesting.
Vargas makes motor mounts just like those as well.. I have a set but haven't installed them yet, considering the amount of trouble to get them in.

I've always wanted this bigger fuel tank on my F87 OG M2. I know it's not cheap but if you know the right people it may not be as expensive as it seems.

Thank you.

I did not realize there were left and right holders. I thought it was just a hardware kit you need to add?

Are left and right holders necessary? They are a bit pricy. The BMW MPE Carbon Front Lip I believe does not come with holders. If you add the holders its better to get the carbon version since the cost is about the same.

Where are folk ordering these parts successfully? After getting the order cancelled by several online vendors, and my local dealership can't do so ( and I live near BMWNW, wouldnt spend a DIME with them EVER) and now I just got the following:

I ordered successfully from BMW of Monterey, but got the following REQUIREMENTS back:

Thanks for your order.
I see that you are ordering Motorsport Parts. For us to order Motorsport Parts for you we are contractually bound to get some information from you as follows. Once you can satisfy all of this and return the Waiver we can follow through with the order. The waiver is attached.

5) To prevent any risk related to the sale or installation of BMW Motorsport Parts, [BMW Dealer] agrees to obtain from every Motorsport Customer, in writing:

• Verification that the Motorsport Customer is licensed by SCCA, BMW CCA, FIA, IMSA or has equivalent experience 3 and is authorized to use Racing Vehicles in closed-course track racing;
• A Racing/Off-Road Parts Disclaimer, Waiver and Release (the “Disclaimer”) in the form attached as Exhibit D. [BMW Dealer] agrees to notify BMW NA of the name of those Motorsport Customers with whom it does business and maintain a copy of all Disclaimers at its principal place of business and make the same available for inspection at BMW NA’s discretion. Failure to obtain accurate information on the Disclaimer and maintain such Disclaimers for BMW NA’s inspection will disqualify [BMW Dealer] from the program;
• An acknowledgment that the Motorsport Customer understands and agrees that the Racing Vehicle is in a race configuration, is not a passenger car as that term is used in 15 U.S.C. § 1231 (c), and does not meet EPA, NHTSA, or any other applicable federal, provincial, or state safety and emission rules and regulations governing vehicles used on public roads;
• Certification that the Motorsport Customer will maintain usage of BMW Motorsport Parts for closed-course track racing purposes only, and will never modify or allow any Racing Vehicles to be modified for use other than on a track in a Motorsport activity; and
• An acknowledgment and agreement that the Motorsport Customer will not license or register the Racing Vehicle to be driven as a “street legal” vehicle and will not allow the Racing Vehicle to be driven on any street or public road.

It is a lot to do but it is what BMW requires.
We’ll hold the order till we have this information for BMW.
Thanks

Say WHAT? For a sway bar and kidney grill screens? I have been told I have to send a picture of my "racing license" and fill out that waiver that immediately disqualifies my road car as a race car. Sorry what?

I can order that exact H&R bar from online vendors (for $440 instead of $240) but those kidney grill screens are unique from what I can see. If BMW made this rule its not Monterey's fault, but this is ludicrous!

Any States side folks successfully ordered any of these parts and from where? Thanks!

I noticed IND has the CS Racing front lip with all hardware. No BS waivers needed.

Has anyone bought from www.bmwpartswholesale.com?

I plugged in p/n for front anti role bar and they're cheaper than BMW Northwest.

Have yall seen the brake duct channels? Actually looks pretty cool and might be retrofit possible.

The lower duct splits into two tubes that then come around into direct tubing onto the rotors themselves. The new upper tube through the front cover is possible, and pretty awesome how it routes to the caliper, but obviously would require cutting.

The lower though.. *ponder* duct would change, but then wheel well covers would have to be modded, plus the shroud on the back of the rotor replaced?

Brake duct to lower tubes (5) and (6) that then tie into the shroud (1)? Its an interesting idea for sure.

That only works on the M2C bumper due to the design of the top ducts, everything else should fit (with modifications) all M2's.

Lightweight makes a great solution as well, but not nearly as robust:https://www.lightweight-performance....bon-p195292491
