For the time being they have similar peak power numbers.

The S55 revs to 7300 while the s58 revs to 7200.

Maybe they are sandbagging so when the CS models come out they can increase rpm by a couple hundred?
Same peak power numbers? S58 is 503/442 vs 444/406. The S58 is limited by the garbage ZF8 because of the torque converter. The ZF8 is a money saving change. BMW should have never moved away from the DCT.

I doubt most M2 CS's will be daily driven, but you sure as hell can't daily an E92 M3. That chassis just wasn't engineered to be remotely reliable. Bluetooth audio also crapped out on a lot of those cars as phones became more advanced.
Huh? What are you talking about not being able to daily drive e92 M3? Maybe you should check out the m3post forum. I have one and love driving it everyday.

Back to topic, M2 CS is a beauty, and the numbers look good. To be honest, this chassis is the last good looking, traditional BMW we currently have among BMW current line ups.

That's anecdotal evidence. Overwhelming consensus is the opposite. I'm always happy to hear of E92s that buck the trend.
