Yeah, that sounds right to me.

I ran ET30-33 with my 19x9.5 265/35 & 265/30 front setups and there was plenty of outside fender clearance with 3-3.2 deg camber, so think you’ll also be fine with ET24 and the wider 275/30, but I don’t know 100%.

Bringing this thread back to life.
I have been running Nankang AR-1 265/35/19 in the front on OEM M2C rims with Ohlins R&T, 5mm spacer and 595 mm hight in the front, and I have been getting really bad rubbing on the left side of the car that has eaten into the bracket that holds the bumper to the wing (just next to the front light)
Has anyone experienced this? Any idea how I can stop this?
The 5mm spacer is a must otherwise I was getting contact between the tire and the spring.

Picture of the bracket, if it's not dealt with it will completely take it off

I thought consensus was 265/35/19 works on the OG M2, but not on the M2C?

Btw everyone, I’m now running this setup for Max Rubber: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1979598

Also ran 275/305 Toyo RR with it.

Well the brackets are the same and so is the bodywork so if it's going to rub on a M2C it will rub on an OG.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm going to try a shorter front spring and move up from 90 to 120 rate spring anyhow since my setup feels too soft for the track anyhow and with the shorter spring I can take the spacer off which will help with a bit of clearance

Just looked at the pic. If it’s the piece I think it is, I trimmed back all the tabs front and rear to give more clearance.

Also, what camber are you running?

I’m running 2.7 degrees of camber
If you trimmed it back what’s holding the fender to the bumper?

You trim it back close to the bolt/screw but leave enough plastic/metal surrounding it for support. No issues after 80+ track days.

I've had the best tire wear with -3.0-3.2 camber. If you dial in a little more than -2.7 it'll also give you a few more mm clearance in that spot.

Actually on the street with cup2 I’m getting perfect wear, but on a set of Nankang AR-1 on the track I’m getting a lot of wear on the inside, always on the inner tire on tracks with mostly turns in one direction.
You can see that there is tread left on all the tire but the inside tread is completely gone

Odd. Never seen anyone running -2.7-3.2deg and burn up the inside like that.

What are your toe settings?

Just a tad over 0 (0.008”)
I also think it’s excessive, was thinking it’s ether the camber or the tires. My daily driven Cup2 look perfect and they get driven hard on the roads on weekends. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Alignment settings seem fine. IDK, others will have to chime in.

Altho, I will say I’m not a fan of the AR1. Gets hot, greasy, slidy in the summer and not great in the wet. Your Cup 2 would be a better track tire, if it weren’t so expensive.

For a 19” track setup I’d be looking at Goodyear Supercar 3, Falken RT660, or RE-71RS.

I was running Cup 2 on the track but they weren’t holding up to well and the tire walls where disintegrating and as you mentioned they are expensive, I have had good experience with the AR-1 other than the fact they get hot and need cooling down.

By the way this is the wear pattern I have been getting on the fronts with every single set, I did try even tacking off a bit of camber but it didn’t help, funny thing is that when I was running 245 size in the front it wasn’t as bad.
I am currently getting only 4-5 track days on the front tires because of this wear pattern and fell that if I could solve it I could get more track days In And save some money.
I’m going to try 0 toe and have been advised even a bit toe out maybe 🤔 I’m not sure.

The tire options you advised are great executor the fact we don’t get them over hear in Israel unfortunately 🤦🏻‍♂️

Gotcha on the tire availability.

There’s no way that little toe in amount would create that wear pattern. I run 0.04” just so it’s not as annoying on the street and I’ve never had wear like that on the track.

Sounds like it may be your soft suspension setup? IDK, you may want to post this as a separate thread question with pic to get more feedback.

Thanks for all the input I’ll do that.👍
What king of spring rate are you running up front?

Dinan HAS, which is slightly stiffer than stock, but moving to Bilstein coil overs in a cpl months. I have to stay on the softer side bc of the crappy roads around here.

I tried getting some information on fitment from the Tire & Wheel forum, but never got a response....hopefully somebody here can help.

I recently bought an M2c that came with two sets of Titan rims. Both sets are 10x19 et22 front and 11x19 et44 rear with custom bored centers for BMW fitment. One set has 235/35/19 front with 295/30/19 rear Hoosier slicks. The Hoosiers don't look bad and supposedly didn't rub, but the rim edge is not completely protected. Update, the rears have self clearance themselves to the inner fender on the top a little to the outside on both sides.

The other set is a 235/35/19 front with 295/30/19 rear Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo tires. The sidewalls on the front Tofeo tires are stretched way too much for my liking with the rim extremely exposed. The rears seem mostly okay.

Titan recommended 275/30/19 on the front and 295/30/19 on the rear. I'm just not sure if there is enough clearance on the front for that large of a tire.

It seems that the sizes are very limited in this category. Pirelli supposedly now makes a 245/35/19 that might help with the front side wall stretch.

Any opinions on a brand and size option for a treaded track/treet tire? These will see track use. I'm tired of settling on a tire only to find they don't make it in a particular size, Nitto, BFG, Mich, etc. Falken RT660 comes in a decent size selection.

I had a similar problem but very minor compared to yours. See thread here:

https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=29367063

I run 255-35/19 RE71 front tires with -3.0 camber, and otherwise stock suspension. Had the rub at Sebring but not at Barber during a later event.

Definitely not an ideal wheel setup. You only have two options I can think of and both aren’t great:

265 & 295/30/19
Cup 2 Connect - OK track tire, expensive
R888R - terrible track tire

So, you may decide to look into the 19” fitment I ran or Apex’s 19” fitments.

If your car also came with OEM wheels run 255/275/35/19 RE-71RS and call it a day.

Thanks for the response. Shame there isn't more to choose from. I may try the Cup 2s.

Has anyone fitted a 295/30/18 tire upfront? I have -3.6 of negative camber and running MCS remote reservoirs. My 18” wheels have a 33mm offset I usually run 275/35 square setup with a 12 mm spacer. I know I will loose turn radius, and it’s gonna be close…
