@6:23: "There's tons of room in the back seat. You can actually put full-sized humans back there. It's a wonderful thing. And on top of that, you've got an enormous trunk."

As a long-time Porsche owner and enthusiast, with more than ten Carrera variants under my belt, I think it's my duty to emphasize the quote above ^^^^. I say this because you get barely usable backseats in the Carrera and the frunk storage space is minimal. I've said it many times and I'll say it again...a lot of what makes the M2 CS special is that it does it all. It rivals cars like the GT4 and yet it provides real-life options and amenities that are perfect for all kinds of driving.

My mother was in town and sat in the back with my son. She was surprised by how much room she had in the back. Going so far as to say it was comfortable. I'm 5'10 and she was behind me without me adjusting my seat.

I got in the back seats of my car today and have to disagree with most people who say they are comfortable even for a full sized adult. I have a short torso comparatively to most and sitting in the back I had to lean my head to the side. It is impossible for me to sit upright in the back.

The truck is legit though!

How tall are you? Mother is 5'3. I'm 5'10 and find the rear seats tolerable. Likely not the case if I were behind someone taller than me. I have just enough leg room to be comfortable for a short sub 1hr trip.

I'm 6' tall. I'm more legs than torso so sitting down I'm no taller than a typical person.

Couldn't agree more.

I took my 16yo son and his mate to football yesterday afternoon in the CS. It was in a rural area with some great twisties enroute. I enjoyed driving them both out and loved the drive back through the countryside. Couldn't do that in a 718 GT4.

I've seen several reviews very similar where they seem to be in the middle of nowhere going seemingly well above the speed limit on public roads. I've wondered if they close the roads for these reviews or they just find places that are Isolated enough, that it's highly likely they don't see another car.

Finally!.. the review we have all been waiting for and not a moment too soon..🙄
Maybe I should have held out for the "2021" model though.

I thought it was a reasonably good well thought out review

I will take it any-day over the seemingly endless G80/2 content

I'm a full-size Human that owns a M2

There's no way that I am sitting in the backseat and no way anyone is sitting behind me unless their a child
I just sat in the back behind my driver seat in its normal position to test it out. I'm 6'0" and the legroom is okay, but my head hits the roof. It would be doable for a 5 minute trip, but not a long drive. I'd imagine anyone under 5'9" will be fine around town, but still not meant for long distance road trips in the backseat.

I am 6.5 but my problem is I am all legs so I doubt few would care to sit behind me

But like you said, maybe for a short trip it might be okay

In all honesty I didn't watch it, but anyone this late in the game with any opinion is just aftershock.
Pretty sure Chris Harris dropped the mic on this one.

I guess if ya got free time to watch or create a review, you can't go wrong with the CS.
Except titling it "2021" 😅

I'll never understand how a 2 series will have just as much / if not more backseat room than the 8!

Maybe because the insurance on the 8er might be hilariously high if it was only a 2 seater

So like a 911 it has back seats so it is insured as a 4 seater

Definitely a great review and for me its one of the most fun and usable cars I own (or have ever owned). The carbon breaks are so good you can modulate them .. incredible!

This guy is a jack stick. I dont know how the m2 is a boy racer.

Anyway, the shots in this video are great. Almost makes me want a gold set to go with my black 763's.

Just watch in muted
